Jeanette Smith, QKA

With over 20 years of experience in the retirement plan industry, Jeanette has developed a deep passion for her work. She began her career as an Administrator for a Recordkeeper before transitioning into the retirement industry, where she specialized in completing tax forms for retirement plans. 

Her enthusiasm and expertise quickly led her to a role with a Third-Party Administrator (TPA), where she honed her knowledge of plan compliance and operations. This opportunity propelled her forward, and as she relocated, Jeanette broadened her understanding of various plan types. She rapidly advanced to the role of Senior Compliance Administrator, managing more complex plans and conducting detailed reviews. 

A member of ASPPA, Jeanette holds the prestigious Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) credential and is currently working towards her Qualified 401(k) Consultant (QKC) certification, reflecting her commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Jeanette currently resides in Houston, TX, where she enjoys unwinding by riding her moped with the wind in her hair. When she's not indulging in her love for online shopping, she finds peace in stargazing and is often known to stop anywhere to take in the breathtaking views of the night sky. Jeanette also looks forward to spending quality time with her family and dogs on vacations.
