Kim Swanson
Kim comes to MVP with a diverse career. Her passion for advocating for persons with disabilities lead her to a long-time career in the field both professionally and within her community. After graduating college, she began her career as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor working with disabled veterans, management at the largest local non-profit and then eventually within the school systems helping families navigate the policies and laws to best serve their children’s educational needs. She also served her community as a School Board Member for many years. Changing courses professionally, she brings with her strong operational and fiscal management skills necessary for the Firm Administrator role here at MVP. Outside of the office, she continues to be committed to her community through various advocacy and volunteer activities. Kim finds great joy in spending time and traveling with her family. She and her husband live in Upstate NY, where they have raised three children and with their beloved Bichon Frise, Bishop. If Kim could be anywhere, it would be beside the ocean.
